How many of you have a hard time waking up in the morning no matter how well you slept? That’s me. I could sleep 4 hours or 9 hours and still feel completely out of it in the morning. I’d love to hear your techniques for waking up. Here are some I’ve tried:
Putting the coffee maker in my room so all I have to do is reach over and turn it on. I have the Ninja Coffee Bar and love it. Still haven’t figured out the milk situation as it seems silly to put a mini fridge in my bedroom. I like my coffee with milk.
I put an Amazon Echo in my bedroom and ask it to wake me up with the news in the morning. Sometimes I try new things like waking up to a podcast or heavy metal…nothing too soothing so I fall back asleep.
Refreshing facial spray to wake me up. Something with peppermint or tea tree oil. I keep it on my bedside table.
Gradually lighting alarm clocks. These do not work for me as my room is typically lit by the time I need to get up. That said, I haven’t tried them in the winter so maybe I’ll bust it back out.
