Mother’s Day by BB
My first Mother’s Day was just 2 days after I had Bubba. We spent the morning in the hospital and then headed home. It was such a sweet and special time!! We were so in love and so excited. But also terrified with what we were about to embark on. Now this will be my 9th Mother’s Day and it’s all new territory again. Normally I just want a day with the family. My husband is a very good gift giver, but ultimately it’s kind of a normal day. I searched out some great gifts from my favorite stores. I also asked you, the followers, what you have loved getting or hope to get.

~Nicole told us that one year she sent her mom, who loves far away, text pictures of individual flowers throughout the day so it until it was an entire bouquet. The flowers were from her garden. Isn’t that so lovely?!! So heartfelt. Any mom would love the thoughtfulness of that!
~My friend Shelly said that one year her mom had given her all the greeting cards from when she was born tied in a bow. How sweet! This is such a good idea so if you have those cards from you when your kids were born keep them and think about giving them to them when they become a parent. So heart felt.
~Jeanne shared that one year her kiddos made her every meal. This I Love!! It’s a way for dads to help their kids understand how hard Mom works and to just spoil her a little. I would totally love this…hint hint kids;)

~Marea is also a Twins super fan and loves getting tickets to a game. Whether it’s to a sports event, a concert, or a theatre ticket, I think this is a great idea!

For this year…I’m not sure yet but she’s been pretty isolated up at her house which is 4 hours away so I’m thinking Binks and I better spoil her a little!!!
