I made this recipe and it is oh so good! I am working eating low carb and love this recipe. I also make extras so I can have it for leftovers because I love left overs. My son also love this recipe so that really helps!
As you know, I love to make a meal out of ingredients I already have in my home. This meal has 4 ingredients plus some spices and is quick and easy to make.
Step 1: Cut or pound 2 large chicken breasts and cut into similar sized pieces so the cook evenly. lay in an flat dish.
Step 2: Mix 4 ounces room temp cream cheese (don’t use the low fat version or it will be too watery), 1/4 teaspoon cumin, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, salt and pepper. Mix well then add 1 small can of diced green chile.
Step 3: After the sauce is mixed evenly, spoon it over the chicken.
Top with shredded mozzarella or jack cheese and bake at 375 for 35 minutes.
Final product is juicy, flavorful chicken. I like to steam some broccoli and dip it in the sauce.
